Calandra Vincent

1st Lady Vincent

Lady Calandra Vincent was born in Richmond, Virginia. She became one in marriage to the love of her life, Pastor Maurice Vincent on November 1, 2003. Together they are blessed with two children, Marquis and Mya.

Lady Vincent started her spiritual journey at a young age but in 1999 she was baptized in Jesus’ name and received God’s gift of the Holy Spirit. Lady Vincent’s life has been strongly influenced by her grandmother, the Late Mother Eleanor W. Taylor and her Mother-In-Law Mother Barbara C. Vincent. Through the example of their unwavering faith, Lady Vincent understands the importance of supporting her husband and families in ministry. Through her life experiences Lady Vincent recognize that ministry starts with self-care, which allows her the capacity to support and love her husband, family, church, and community.

As a member in the church, Lady Vincent has enjoyed multiple roles throughout her years in ministry. Her involvement in youth ministries, community engagement, and women’s ministry has helped shape her focus and framework in ministry today. Lady Vincent has a strong desire to worship God and serve his people. Through her faithful relationship with God, she has learned to lean and trust in the Lord with all her heart. She embraces the promise that “Eyes has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”, 1 Corinthians 2:9. Lady Vincent strives to invest her life in kingdom building.

Lady Vincent strongly believes in education and maximizing one’s divine creation. She obtained her LPN license in 2014 from J. Sargeant Reynold’s Community College. In May 2025, she graduated from Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing and achieved her BSN, RN. With her committed efforts she was awarded induction into Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society of Nursing and graduated with Latin Honors.

In her spare time, Lady Vincent loves shopping, and one could say she has a shoe addiction and find it hard to seek rehabilitation. She feels that every woman needs a good pair of shoes. Vacation time with family is important, and being around her loved ones brings her joy and happiness. She is interested in traveling abroad and exploring new places to learn new cultures, perspectives and create memories. Football season is an exciting time for Lady Vincent. She enjoys the excitement of teams competing and the 49ers winning. She recalls the scripture from her husband… “Life is a gift and it is meant to be enjoyed, so love your loved ones, enjoy life, and live!” Maurice, Chapter 42:1
